Dan Berrigan

Winemaker

Dan grew up in Perth, Western Australia and at the tender age of 18 chose to move to Adelaide to study winemaking at the world renowned Adelaide University Waite Campus (formerly Roseworthy) where he graduated in 2003. Dan knew his passion was in cool climate wines and began traveling between Tasmania, Oregon and the Russian River region of Northern California, before settling down at Norfolk Rise in 2008. By traveling and working in world class wineries such as Pipers Brook Vineyard, Domaine Drouhin Oregon, Hartford Court, Freestone Wines and Tamar Ridge Wines, Dan is able to draw on his experience of cool climate winemaking and apply it to our wines here at Norfolk Rise.
